1. Participate in the Better Together Challenge
Participate in the “Better Together with Pyeongchang” video challenge and create a video that is creative and practical and serves public interest. You can become the recipient of a grant to further develop your video as well as a reward of 6M KRW.
2. Participate in the Better Together Idea Challenge
Pitch your creative idea and a detailed solution to make Pyeongchang better. The winner will receive a reward of 3M KRW.
3. Support us through a partnership or donation
Become an official partner of the 2020 Better Together Challenge and make this gathering of global innovators more meaningful. Contact us at hello@wcokorea.org
4. Join us on We Are Better Together Net
We Are Better Together Net” is an online community where “culture designers” (social innovators) from all over the world who aspire to make a better world can introduce their works and network and collaborate with each other. Introduce your projects and meet other social innovators!

If you submit additional materials (photos, images, videos, capstone designs, infographics) that support and further explain your idea along with the project proposal, it might increase your chances of winning.

When selected as the winner, the pitch will be recorded as a video. These videos will not be used for profit.

2020 Pyeongchang World Culture Open Competition: Better Together Challenge
"The cultural Olympics of innovators dreaming for a better world”
Better Together Challenge (World Culture Open Competition) is a global competition where changemakers, innovators, and social activists who are designing a brighter world with their unique talents through their own ways all around the world gather together to share experience in various cases and ideas on current global issues.
The global society is going through a hard time in 2020 due to COVID-19. Because we must continue dreaming for a better future even during this historical moment when we can’t be physically together, we are hosting the 2020 Better Together Challenge again this year. Participants will collaborate and share ideas and inspirations online for 30 days through the 2020 Better Together Challenge and once again, we will realize the importance of being better together.
